An exercise in photo-manipulation and world building. I took photos of an empty leather-bound sketchbook out in the forests of the Fraser Valley, and then digitally edited the text, watercolours, drawings, and grime, into it. An early attempt at fleshing out what the Healing and Magic book my character Sable from my webcomic Sable & Aster might look like.
