There to present her awards were The Right Livelihood Award laureates René Ngongo of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Alyn Ware of New Zealand, and David Suzuki of Canada. Millions of people tuned their TV to the award ceremony in hopes to catch a glimpse of the ellusive Mia, who in her later life became a recluse; however, Mia was unable to attend due to urgent matters of global importance that she would not disclose. The collective sigh of dismay from the millions watching made the world shudder, but we must all be thankful that Mia is still working dilligently to protect the world from malicious Alien threats."
